RS Double XP Live is coming back! From Aug. 7, you can train your skills and enjoy 48 hours of double XP during the ten days once again. But how to prepare for the coming event?   

Enjoy RS Double XP Live event from Aug 7 

With the latest official post updated on Jul. 17, we know that RS Double XP Live event will come back at 12:00 game time on Aug. 7, lasting until at 12:00 game time on Aug. 17. You will be able to train your various skills and enjoy 48 hours of double XP again during the upcoming ten days. 
However, please note that the Archaeology skill is still exclusive from the Double XP Live until October. You will not obtain bonus XP for Archaeology. 

Prepare for the upcoming RS Double XP Live 

The Double XP Live will return soon, so you can prepare for it ahead of time by joining in the following activities: 
1. Gather large amounts of skilling resources via the Grand Exchange, especially fast but expensive skills, like Summoning, Fletching, Herblore. 
2. Join in Treasure Hunter to get protean items and sources of bonus experience, as well as earn keys by completing quests and daily challenges or buying them. 
3. Buy portable skilling stations
4. Collect divine locations because resources and experience can be obtained at a faster rate than traditional methods. But the amount of items you obtain is limited. 
5. Train at certain locations and worlds to maximize efficiency, and skill at crowded locations to obtain more experience. 
6. Join in money-making activities to afford resources and other desired items, which is useful while skilling expensive skills.
7. Upgrade weapons and combat equipment to maximize experience gains. 
8. Get a skilling boost by joining and skilling in the clan citadel, which can offer 3% bonus experience.
