There are a total of four locations at Orthen Dig Site. Here we will provide a guide to RS Orthen Dig Site locations, which will help you enter Crypt of Varanus and Observation Outpost quickly.  

Steps to enter RS Crypt of Varanus 

Crypt of Varanus is the first excavation site at Orthen Dig Site. Upon reaching level 90 Archaeology, you can access to this location following these steps: 
1. Talk to Mr. Mordaut located next to the Bank chest at Anachronia base camp. 
2. Find the inactive teleportation device in the east of the lodestone, and click on to activate it.
3. Go to the Crypt of Varanus following the map. 

4. Click on the inactive teleportation device to activate it. Later you can quickly return here by using Orthen teleportation device at the base camp.
5. Enter the door to the east of the device to access to the crypt. 

Steps to enter RS Observation Outpost 

Observation Outpost is the second excavation site where you can access. Like Crypt of Varanus, it requires level 90 Archaeology to enter.
1. Use the teleportation device to navigate between Orthen dig sites quickly. 
2. Complete "Incomplete Portal Network I" special research and view the research report. 
3. Withdraw 20 unnoted Ancient vis.
4. Go to "Observation Outpost" following the map.

 
5. Use 20 ancient vis to activate the inactive teleportation device with level 70 Runecrafting at the Outpost. 
6. Enter the door north of the portal.
